Pay rate is $30-35 an hour, depending on experience

This position is part-time, offering flexibility in terms of the days and times you will work. Ideally, we are looking for someone to work approximately 20 to 30 hours per week, with hours falling between 9am and 2pm.

Bookkeeper Expectations

• We are currently using Acculynx, but we are planning to implement QuickBooks, and we will look to your expertise with the launch and efficient utilization of the platform when we are ready.
• You’re the person who is managing the cash flow of the business, under the direction and support of the Owner, so that we are successful as a company
• You’ll be sending invoices to customers and answering their questions so that we maintain strong communication with our clients
• As the person on the frontline of our financials, you’ll be collecting and posting payments from customers
• You’ll be managing collections and reconciling the credit card account
• You’ll ensure that communication with our vendors is clear and concise by posting vendor invoices, managing vendor Certificates of Insurance and onboarding new vendor credentials
• You’re a stickler for accuracy and will use your skills to conduct internal audits, send reports to the Management Team, and reconcile accounts and statements on a regular basis

Bookkeeper Skills and Experience. We’re flexible on the number of years of previous experience for this role. We highly favor talent and interest. Some candidates may see this list and feel discouraged because they don’t match all the items. • 3-5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• 3-5 years of experience using Microsoft Excel: creating formulas, improving templates, formatting spreadsheets
• Understands that working independently and teamwork go hand-in-hand
• Able to represent yourself professionally with your teammates and our customers
• Has a natural curiosity and enjoys digging into and solving problems
• Thinks fast and enjoys being active
• Experience using QuickBooks
• Experience with Acculynx is a plus!
