Bookkeeper/Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transaction entry and review, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in debits and credits, general accounting, and account reconciliation. This is a part-time hybrid position that requires travel to clients in Baltimore, MD - non negotiable. Reliable transportation is a must.

Duties:
- Perform bookkeeping duties, including but not limited to accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries
- Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

Skills:
- Proficiency in debits and credits, general ledger accounting, and financial concepts
- Ability to perform account reconciliations accurately and efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills

- 5+ years of experience using Quickbooks Online

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
