Bookkeeper

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has experience with accounting software, tax preparation, and possesses strong analytical and organizational skills.

Duties:
- Perform general bookkeeping duties, including data entry, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements
- Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements
- Conduct account analysis and ensure accuracy of financial information
- Assist with tax preparation and filing
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly
- Handle accounts payable tasks, including processing invoices and issuing payments
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and implement financial procedures
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

Skills:
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks
- Strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Familiarity with tax regulations and requirements
- Ability to perform account analysis and identify discrepancies or errors
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting practices
- Experience with accounts payable processes
- Understanding of financial concepts and terminology
