Billing Specialist III will be responsible for all billing detail to ensure invoices are accurate and complete.
Primary Duties:
Prepare and edit invoices for government contracts. Compile invoice support and prepare for customer distribution. Identify, research, and initiate corrective action plan for billing issues/discrepancies. Reconcile and analyze provisional billing rates. Prepare and update billing review policies and procedures
Completes supporting schedule for applicable CLINs. Performs necessary cost transfers, and cleanup of all billing issues. Assists with tracking of all key performance indicators related to billing. Populates and submits project setup forms and produces project reference guides. Assists with all Business Management requirements per direction of the Business Manager.
Minimum Requirements:
Bilingual English/Spanish Fluency Required. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand.
Demonstrated expertise with MS Office Suite with an emphasis on formula Excel and PowerPoint required.
Proficient with Cognos and Costpoint.
Office-based working environment and occasional business travel required.
Must possess excellent oral, written, and communication skills.
Have the ability to address a wide variety of audiences.
Strong attention to detail and ability to execute on multiple priorities in a fast-paced operation.
Must have ability to deal with customer and company employees in a courteous, professional, and effective manner.
Must have the ability to work extended periods of time on a computer.
Three (3) years business analyst experience and/or financial analyst experience.
Understanding and/or familiarity with Government CR, T&M, FFP, IDIQ contracts, FAR Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must posses planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
