About the Role
The Billing Specialist role will perform analytical accounts receivable processes to ensure the proper preparation and timely billing and collections of assigned accounts.
Responsibilities:
o Process timely billing and collections of assigned accounts
o Participate in month-end process activities
o Responsible for answering accounts receivable inquires from internal and external customers
o Identify accounts to be escalated to management, legal and third-part collection agencies
o Assist in the internal/external audit processes
o Prepare management weekly accounts receivable collections reports for their assigned accounts
o Assist with special projects assigned by management team
Education:
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Required Qualifications:
o 2-5 years of hauling water, disposal, crude/O&G billing and collection experience
o Ability to multi-task accounts in a fast-paced environment
o Effective written and oral communication
o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
o Must have strong knowledge in accounting and billing systems (i/e. (Open Invoice, Ariba, Gemini) Quick books is a plus+
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
