Your Opportunity: Taylor is seeking a Billing Specialist to be based in North Mankato, MN at our Corporate Graphics Commercial facility. Critical to success in this role is a strong business acumen, ability to learn and apply pricing programs and grids of our diverse business lines, building strong and credible partnerships with leaders and peers, and a willingness to work with business leaders to support culture and performance. This role is on-site and has consistent exposure and engagement with senior management.
Your Responsibilities:
- Learn and execute existing billing processes, pricing schemes, and grids that ensure timely and accurate billing and invoicing of customers.
- Ensure that billings and invoices invoices accurately reflect pricing, terms and conditions agreed to by the organization and comply with governmental rules and regulations when applicable, and are issued in a timely manner.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and errors and recommend improvements to the billing process to senior management.
- Support specific administrative processes as needed.
You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and 2+ years related/relevant professional experience.
- Operational business acumen and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment is critical.
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Word and Excel and general comfort with ERP/Software systems.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures and numerical data.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, customers, sales representatives and employee peers and stakeholders.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
- Must be detail oriented and extremely organized.
