Billing Coordinator

Most Important Responsibilities:
- Processing all transactions related to request for pro-froma, bill edits, and bills including narrative edits, time/cost transfers, hour and value adjustments, unbilled write-offs, and rate re-evaluation.
- Maintain and process electronic bills via a variety of client applications.
- Transaction validation, bill transfer, and documentation
- Set up and maintain special client rate tables and bill formats as requested by attorneys.
- Review and process unbilled write-offs.
- Interface with client billing applications via Internet or other file transfer method.
- Assist attorneys and secretaries with billing problems, reports, or client inquiries as needed.
- Support implementation of billing functionality in new ERP system.
- Data conversion validation, testing system processes, data cleanup projects and supporting other billers as they participate in this project
- Assist Billing Manager with special projects and reports as required.
What you can bring to the table to impact this role, team, and organization:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of billing experience in a professional legal environment.
- Advanced ERP System experience
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Understanding of general accounting concepts.
- ERP Implementation/Integration experience in a law/legal practice environment
