JOB OVERVIEW:
Billing coordinator performs and oversees the billing operations of the company. They coordinate with other departments to ensure the accuracy of invoices, correspond with clients to follow up on outstanding payments, and resolve any billing-related issues.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and release client invoices
- Process credit card and ACH payments for client after invoices have been released
- Collaborate with other departments to issue and monitor invoices in a timely manner
- Analyze and evaluate client data to ensure accuracy and identify inconsistencies in the invoicing process
- Maintain and update client master data records
- Must be confident to discuss inconsistencies and/or mistakes with peers, while maintaining a friendly demeanor and solution-oriented mindset
- Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent accountholders to request payment
- Reconcile accounts receivable GL to sub-ledger
- Prepare AR Aging Report
- Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts
- Assists Accounting Manager in reconciling revenue accounts each month
- Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Associates required; bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
- At least two years of billing and accounts receivable related experience required
- Prior experience with In-home and Private healthcare billing is a PLUS

- Ability to compute basic time hour differences and other calculations
- Ability to operate standard office equipment including but not limited to copier, printer, computer
Physical Requirement:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
