What's a typical day as a Billing Associate? You'll be:
- Creating accurate installment and per claim invoices for assigned clients.
- Properly allocating revenue to appropriate clients and company locations.
- Generating and maintaining department spreadsheets.
- Maintaining a system of Recurring Journal Entries to accurately defer annual, semi-annual, and quarterly revenue.
- Keying journal entries for accounting staff.
- Maintaining client billing files with current billing instructions and contracts.
- Creating monthly revenue versus budget variance reports.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Have an associate degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university (preferred).
- Have two (2) years of billing or related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Have knowledge of general accounting practices.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Are PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
- Have strong organizational skills.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Have the ability to meet deadlines.
- Have the ability to work in a team environment.
