Medical Payment Processor - Credit Cards
Position Overview
This position is responsible for accurately and efficiently posting payments. This position requires skills in the review of Explanation of Benefits (EOB) for both Government and commercial carriers, electronically and on paper.
Essential Functions
- Enters, update and verifies data into various systems.
- Able to read EOB's.
- Experience reading Doctor's office billing statements
- Allocating Money
- Run and distribute reports
- Comfortable moving between several systems to track payment history
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations

- Able to act independently in productivity-based environment
- Give focused attention to detail
- Able to prioritize workload and move readily from task to task.
- Quick learner
Education Requirements
- High school graduate

Paid Time Off
- 8 paid holidays once you have completed your 90 day probationary period.
- Paid vacation available after 6 months - The first year - 1 week vacation; second year- two weeks and vacation increases the longer you stay.
- Paid Time Off - earn 2 hours of PTO for every pay period that you work your complete schedule and you will have access to the PTO you have accrued after 90 days. You have the potential of earning 48 hours or 6 days of additional time off each year.
401k plan
- Eligible after one year of service.
- DBA matches 25% match on your 401k contributions up to 6% of your salary.
- Employee vested in the plan at 20% per year of service.
If you are hired at DBA, we ask that you initially work the schedule of your trainer. After you have completed your training period, typically 30 days, your scheduled hours can be anywhere between 7 and 5:30, depending on the department. We pay you for 2-15 minute breaks and ask you to clock out for a 30 minute lunch break. Our team wears scrubs and sneakers and we provide 2 sets of scrubs after you have worked with us for a couple of weeks. You are welcome to wear the company t-shirt we provide with jeans on Fridays.
