Job Description
Reporting to the Director ORR and Director of Human Resources, the Bilingual Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting, staffing, and onboarding strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the ORR Program.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research, plan and manage a full-cycle recruitment strategy including sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring;
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with program and department leadership to further recruitment initiatives including engaging hiring managers in the recruitment and hiring processes and conducting post hire analysis to determine the effectiveness of recruitment initiatives.
- Cultivate a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need using internal and external networks.
- Post open positions on the application tracking system and manage the advertisement process with any external sources.
- Manage the application tracking system and utilize system capabilities to source candidates, maintain candidate relationships, and track candidate movement through the hiring process.
- Utilize technology and social media to attract and engage qualified candidates.
- Attend community and college career fairs and develop working partnerships with strategically-selected colleges and professional groups;
- Coach hiring managers on recruiting, screening, and interviewing best practices;
- Provide application tracking system training for system users;
- Collaborate with department managers to create or update accurate job descriptions;
- Screen applications and forward qualified candidates for hiring manager review;
- Schedule interviews and prepare of interview questions or other hiring and selection materials, if needed by the hiring manager;
- Assist with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders;
- Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, start dates, and other pertinent details;
- Perform reference and background checks on applicants;
- Prepare and send job offer and rejection communications to applicants;
- Prepare and send new employee onboarding packages;
- Conduct policy and procedure training during preservice or as needed;
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies;
- Participate in continued performance and quality improvement initiatives;
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Experience working in sourcing and
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field from an accredited institution, preferred. Maryville will consider significant recruiting experience in lieu of a degree;
- A minimum of 3 years experience in full-cycle recruiting or the Human Resources field. Experience recruiting in a child welfare, social service, or non-profit organization, preferred;
- Experience working with application tracking systems;
- SHRM or HRCI certification, preferred;
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now, preferred.

- Must be Bilingual Spanish/English

- Excellent computer skills especially using the Microsoft Office Suite of products,
- Knowledge of Human Resources databases/systems;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Strong organizational, analytical, time-management, and decision-making qualities;
- Knowledge of business writing principles and practices;
- Ability to establish respectful and collaborative relationships with Maryville staff in all areas of responsibility;
- Ability to represent Maryville to the general public in a responsible, respectful and professional manner;
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate a cooperative spirit.
