Automotive Sales Manager

Penske Automotive Group has an exciting opportunity for a driven and energetic individual to help lead the sales department at one of its San Diego area dealerships. Candidates must be able to effectively motivate, coach, and train employees in a fast-paced environment. Preferred candidates can be a leading Automotive Salesperson looking for the next step in career development or an experienced Sales Manager ready for a challenging new opportunity. We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and assertive Sales Manager to join one of our high-volume dealerships. Candidates must be professional and able to motivate a successful Automotive Sales team while focusing on customer retention and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Automotive Manager and with a strong sales management background. Candidates must have a desire to produce results, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to build outstanding customer relationships. Eligible candidates must have at least two years of experience in a dealership sales capacity with an additional two years in a supervisory position.

Pay for this position is $66,000 plus commission per year.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 or more years of Automotive Retail Management experience
• 2 or more years of Automotive Retail Sales experience
• Proven sales and management skills/results
• Ability to multi-task and produce results in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Self-motivated enthusiastic/career oriented presence in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Professional appearance
