Autism Paraprofessional / Line Technician

Spectrum of Possibilities (Applied Behavior Analysis)

• Now hiring Autism Paraprofessional/RLT.
• Entry-level position. No experience is necessary.
• Starting pay is $13.50 with significant quarterly raises and the opportunity to make up to $20 per hour.
• All employees are scheduled 37.5 hours per week, which is M-F 7:30/7:45-3:15. (If your scheduled client cancels you are given the option to take the day off unpaid or to come in to do indirect tasks such as cleaning, laminating, helping co-workers, etc. at the same hourly rate as if you were with a client).

Autism paraprofessionals work 1:1 with kids with autism to teach important skills, such as communication, school readiness, social and self-help skills, and work to reduce unwanted behaviors, such as mild aggression (ex: hitting, kicking, throwing) and other inappropriate behaviors by teaching appropriate behaviors to replace these unwanted behaviors.

Qualifications:

• high school diploma / GED
• valid drivers license
• ability to complete and pass a background check in Baton Rouge
• availability M-F, 7:30am-3:15pm (Note: we are OPEN some days that local schools are closed, including summer)
• truthful, reliable, respectful, genuine and love kids.
