FP&A Manager

Vita Coco is hiring a FP&A Manager to report directly to the Director of FP&A. This role will be based out of our HQ-NY Office; we currently have a 3 days-per-week in-office requirement, to work from our Manhattan office.

Main Responsibilities:

• Owns the production of the global consolidated monthly financial results deck which is presented to the Leadership Team, and includes variance and other analyses to understand business performance and trends

• Manages one direct report, SG&A analyst, and guides them in their day-to-day responsibilities, in addition to supporting them in their learning and development

• Partners with accounting and other non-finance teams to ensure accurate financials focused on the Americas SG&A incl. Marketing lines including the preparation of reports suitable for a non-finance audience

• Analyzes various ad hoc financial or commercial items including, but not limited to, Volume, Price, Mix analysis and Customer/Brand level P&L review with insights presentable for Leadership Team or Board level review

• Organizes the budget and forecasting process to meet required deadlines, collaborating with teams in the Americas and Internationally to understand their results and support with any concerns

• Owns the preparation of the consolidated forecast and budget financials, which are presented to the Leadership Team and the board for approval, ensuring clear analysis on changes from prior plans

• Supports the global strategic planning (3 Year Plan) for the organization

• Investigates ad hoc issues, supporting team members both within and outside of Finance to resolve items

• Contributes to various process and systems improvements, seeking out efficiencies and partnering with IT and other teams to complete projects

Qualifications:

• Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting

• Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting

• Key Skills & Abilities:

• Outstanding attention to detail

• Superior writing, communication, training and presentation skills

• Ability to work cross-functionally

• Capacity to explain more complex accounting or finance concepts to a non-finance audience

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

• Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative financial analysis

• Able to put together financial models and provide well-considered analyses

• Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and ambitious; able to work independently and directly with senior management on special projects

• Preferred Experience:

• Experience with SAP and TM1 a plus

• Experience with PowerBI a plus

• CPG or Beverage Industry experience a plus

• Experience in supporting a software or system improvements a plus

At The Vita Coco Company, compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors, which may include but are not limited to: skill set, experience, education, training, licensure and certifications, knowledge and abilities of the applicant, alignment with market data, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $110,000-$130,000 This range may vary for positions that will be performed outside of California, Colorado, Nevada, New York City, Westchester County, NY, Rhode Island, or Washington.
