Our Air Operations Team is at the heart of our United Next growth plan. We're adding new destinations regularly, and this team ensures that we have the right people and resources in place to get our customers to the destinations that they desire the most.
As an Associate Analyst in the Air Operations Leadership Development Program, you'll have the opportunity to work in one of our critical operational departments such as Solutions & Recovery, Resource Planning or Airport Operations. Your passion for data will help us tackle operational challenges, and you'll be a part of ensuring efficient performance within our airline. Additionally, this three-year program is designed for recent graduates and offers comprehensive on the job training, leadership development workshops and personalized mentorship to help you navigate your career at United.
Key Responsibilities:- Supports functional team leaders with operations initiatives
- Assist with evaluations that address areas of concern relative to the department/ division goals, performance objectives, and impact of a variety of operation, financial, and managerial programs, in conformance with company policies and procedures or sound business practices
- Assist with the identification of potential improvement opportunities and support program management of specific initiatives
- Use data and analysis to evaluate trends, identify and deficiencies
- Analyze/review performance data to ensure new tools, strategies and processes are aligned with objectives and are delivering business values
- Provide support with the creation and the continuous improvement of operational reports and analysis

- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Management, a quantitative field, or related area of study
- Proven strong academic performance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills are crucial
- Organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Solid interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration and initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
- Master's degree
- Previous internship or work experience in an operational or analytical capacity.
