Associate Treasury Analyst, Cash Desk

Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The primary focus of the Treasury Analyst is to support and manage Fortune Brands Innovations Treasury operations processes and strategy. This role will facilitate and optimize funding and liquidity management across domestic and international cash pools. Additional support to be provided on various Treasury projects.
Position location:This role is designated as a hybrid role which includes working at least 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in our main office located in Deerfield, IL to foster better collaboration, connection, and innovation.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Manages the cash/liquidity positions across all domestic and international bank accounts to ensure sufficient and optimal funding. Execute domestic and international fund transfers in coordination with daily settlement of cash/liquidity funding.
• Supports Treasury manager in execution and reporting of external funding from Revolving Credit Facility, Commercial Paper programs, letters of credit, surety bonds, and all other lines of credit.
• Manages the overall process for cash application within the Treasury sub-ledger and subsequent accounting ledgers. Works alongside accountants to ensure entries reconcile each month.
• Manages all intercompany lending tracking and reporting. Effectively communicates and handles operating companies’ inquires and information requests.
• Manages treasury workstation including integration of new accounts, companies, and processes.
• Support Treasury Manager in bank account maintenance, portal administration and overall compliance.
• Generate various Treasury management reports (10K, 10Q, SOX/Audit, CQ-2, etc.)
• Analyzes and tracks bank account fee analysis statements for accuracy of cash management expenses.
• Backup support on the FX Trading desk.
• Responsible for special and cross-functional projects across Treasury function, Finance Insurance, Accounting, Tax, and Legal.

Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
• 0+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or related field required. 2+ years of experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Skilled at applying basic accounting concepts.
• Excellent Excel skills required.
