Job Summary:
We seek an outgoing, self-driven, organized individual to provide high level confidential support to the Chief Executive Officer as the Assistant to the CEO. This opportunity will afford the applicant with a strong female entrepreneur as a mentor and learn the ins and outs of starting and running their own business.
Applicants must be self-motivated, have exceptional writing and editing skills, have the ability to think both creatively and strategically, and be organized, enthusiastic, compassionate, resourceful, and diplomatic.
Only applicants within 45 minutes driving time to Joliet, Illinois will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a first point of contact dealing with correspondence and phone calls.
- Proactively manage and coordinate activities of the CEO by ensuring appropriate support is provided upon request.
- Provide full personal assistant support by dealing with all correspondence and calls, drafting routine letters to a high standard, running errands, taking messages and other administrative tasks as required to support the Chief Executive.
- Field press inquiries, pitch the media for appearances and interviews.
- Help grow and maintain a strong positive public image.
- Develop social media programs to shape public perception of the CEO and to increase awareness of the CEO’s passion, work and goals. Manage social media accounts and develop professional, elegant content.
- Plan and organize travel and accommodation when required. Accompany CEO on travel when required.
