Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office / Event Assistant to join our team. The Office / Event Assistant will be responsible for assiting with the daily operations of our office, ensuring efficiency and productivity. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a background in the Sports and Entertainment hospitality industry.
Duties:
- Assist and coordinate office activities, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and handling correspondence
- Assist with event marketing and promotion, including coordinating vendors and other events
- Collaborate with management to develop and manage budgets for for our event
- Plan and execute office-wide initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity
- Communicate effectively with Board members, guest, clients , and vendors to ensuring clear understanding of process and procedures
- Provide training and support to volunteer staff as needed
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Oversee administrative tasks such as filing, record keeping, and data entry
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the sports and entertinment or hospitality industry is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management
- Knowledge of event planning and coordination
- Ability to upsell products or services to clients/customers
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in all tasks

Expected hours: 4 – 40 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
