Tile Apprentice

$15 - $18 hourly

• Learn and assist in the proper preparation of surfaces for tile installation
• Purpose: Ensure the foundation for tiling is strong and durable
• Expectation: Follow instructions carefully and take the initiative to ask questions for clarification
• Assist in the measurement and cutting of tiles to fit specific areas
• Purpose: Achieve precise and accurate tile placement
• Expectation: Pay attention to detail and work with precision
• Mix and prepare grout, mortar, and other adhesives for tile installation
• Purpose: Ensure proper adhesion and longevity of tile work
• Expectation: Follow safety protocols and measurements accurately
• Support lead tile installers in the layout and design of tile patterns
• Purpose: Create aesthetically pleasing and functional tile installations
• Expectation: Learn from experienced installers and contribute ideas for design
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards
• Purpose: Promote efficiency and safety during tile installation projects
• Expectation: Follow company guidelines for cleanliness and safety consistently

• Previous experience in tile installation or related fields preferred
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials up to 85 lbs
• Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in tile work
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable transportation and US work authorization
