A/P Bookkeeper

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has a strong background in bookkeeping, is proficient in accounting software, and has experience with tax preparation.

Responsibilities

• Bank reconciliations
• Process accounts payable, agree balance to A/P aging schedule
• Must be able to use QuickBooks Online
• Pay bills as directed
• Create sales invoices
• Participate in account analysis and preparation of schedules
• Knowledge of Payroll tax rules
• Must be flexible in switching task
• Make bank deposits
• Assist in quarterly reporting and year end audits
• Limited knowledge in HR matters, Insurance, w/Comp etc.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports
- Knowledge of tax regulations and familiarity with tax preparation processes
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
