The Policy/Contract Administration Specialist delivers policy support, which promotes a positive client/adviser experience. This role requires an in depth understanding of the full suite of Annuity products with the ability to handle high volume service requests with agility and attention to detail. This position works under moderate supervision and primarily supports complex processing related functions.

Responsibilities
- Demonstrates an understanding of all facets of the Annuity products sold to be able to handle and process simple to more complex transactions with a high caliber of quality and attention to detail. These transactions would include, but are not limited to role changes, non-standard correspondence, maturity correspondence, and/or living benefit transactions/updates.
- Applies expertise, established procedures and regulatory rules to determine if requests are in ‘good order’
- Interpret each request for processing, navigate multiple administration systems, have a deep understanding of the downstream impact and maintain detailed supporting documentation
- Has an understanding of our current Anti-Money Laundering Program and Anti-Fraud Plan in an effort to mitigate risks for Penn Mutual and its affiliates, as well as adheres to the company's framework of internal controls
- Uses problem-solving skills to resolve issues and escalates concerns when necessary
- Provides accurate and detailed timelines as needed
- Reviews assigned work queues to ensure work items are processed within expected turnaround times
- Provides detailed explanations for discrepancies and adjustments as needed
- Work with internal departments to ensure company meets clients’ expectations
- Identify, recommend and implement ongoing process improvements to improve the customer experience
- Proactively owns the customer experience by establishing trust and building relationships with financial professionals and customers to provide high caliber service and follow-through
- Handle in-bound calls from our producers, clients and beneficiaries providing prompt, courteous service and assists co-workers with complex calls.
- Responsible for providing timely and accurate information when servicing Financial Professionals and clients. This role requires an excellent communicator with a proactive attitude to think ahead to help support our Financial Professionals.

Required Experience
- 3-5 Years of Annuity work experience in the insurance industry Preferred
Education
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $88,000
