Afternoon Dental Receptionist

Receptionist Position, Part-time

Afternoons/Evenings

4 days/week, 1pm-close

Willing to work extra occasionally to cover vacations, emergencies.

Starting wage: $15/hour

Requirements:

• Computer skills required
• Comfortable talking to patients on the phone
• Friendly and helpful to patients, in person and on phone
• Willing to learn
• Detail-oriented
• Self-Starter, able to multi task
• No prior Dental Software knowledge required
• Hepatitis B vaccine required

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out
• Look up insurance benefits
• Process payments, claims
• Operate office equipment: scanner, printer, fax, phones
• File paperwork
• Make reminder calls to patients
• Manage appointment book
• Handle odd projects that may arise
• Light cleaning at end of day (wipe counters, vacuum, take trash out, etc.)
• Occasionally helping clean and prepare patient rooms

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 – 25 per week

• Monday to Friday

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
