Dental Receptionist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting. Your role will involve answering phones, scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and other tasks as assigned.

Duties:

- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor

- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner

- Schedule appointments for patients

- Verify insurance coverage

- Collect patient information and update electronic medical records

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area

Experience:

- Previous experience working in a dental office or medical office setting is preferred

- Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes is a plus

- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix is highly desirable

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with empathy and professionalism
