Receptionist

Overview:

We are a family dental office in Mesick and we need someone who will help us provide excellent care for our patients as a receptionist. This involves being fast and efficient on the computer and phone; gathering and entering all information accurately. It also means getting to know our patients, greeting everyone with a warm smile, friendly banter and calling them by name as best you can. It is an opportunity to be a bright spot in the day of our patients. This job is not for youif you just want to punch a clock and go home. We expect our staff to go the extra mile to care for both patients and each other! As a team, we build each other up, help each out and always care for each other. We also expect accuracy and attention to detail from each team member. We are looking for a person who wants to remain with us for the long haul.

Requirements:
--outgoing and friendly
--excellent computer & keyboarding skills
--fast and accurate typing
--firm grasp of basic arithmetic
--attention to detail is a must
--common sense
--a passion for cleanliness

Duties include:
--Standing at a computer all day entering detailed notes while answering the phone and checking in and out patients with a big smile and positive attitude!
--Accurately posing payments
--Communicating with insurance companies and gathering accurate information
--Dealing with machines that hate human beings!
--Willing to do whatever is necessary at the moment to make the office run smoothly

Administrative Duties:

• Scheduling
• Answering and routing phone calls
• Managing social media
• Greeting visitors

Financial Duties:

• Processing payments
• Billing

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
