Dental Receptionist

```Duties```
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for patients
- Verify and update patient information in the electronic medical records system (Epic, Dentrix, eClinicalWorks)
- Collect and process payments from patients
- Assist with insurance verification and claims processing
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and address their inquiries or concerns
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow

```Requirements```
- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist preferred but not required or in a similar role (medical receptionist, front desk)
- Familiarity with dental office procedures and terminology is preferred
- Proficient in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and phone systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to handle confidential patient information appropriately
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or patient needs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
