Dental Receptionist

### Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The Dental Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and assisting with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the public and possess strong communication and organizational skills.

### Duties:

- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify insurance coverage and process patient payments
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Provide accurate information to patients regarding dental procedures, treatments, and fees
- Manage office supplies inventory and order as needed
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

### Requirements:

- Previous experience working as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar administrative role preferred
- Proficient in using dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Familiarity with medical terminology and dental procedures
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
