ODNR owns and manages state parks, state forests, state nature preserves and wildlife areas. We license all hunting, fishing and watercraft; oversee and permit all mineral extraction, monitor dam safety, manage water resources and serve as the second largest Law Enforcement presence in the State of Ohio.

We are accepting applications for an Administrative Professional 1within the Division of Parks & Watercraft, headquartered at Indian Lake State Park located in Logan county. What You'll Do:

  • Provide secretarial assistance by performing routine administrative tasks at Indian Lake State Park.
  • Provide excellent customer service (e.g., answer phones, screens & directs calls, greets visitors, gives directions, respond to office email account):
  • Organize and assist with special events at the park.

  • Starting hourly pay of $19.99/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 6.5 years of service, with an end salary of $23.49/hr.

Qualifications

1 yr. trg. or 1 yr. exp. in secretarial science or business office applications. For positions requiring technical terminology, applicants must also have 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in relevant technical terminology.
