This an in-office position is based in our Windsor Locks Office near the Bradley Airport.
Responsibilities to include but are not limited to:
- Monitor and maintain multiple high-volume e-mail inboxes and operating systems
- Prioritize and organize competing tasks for multiple locations with little to no assistance
- Review and Upload documents from email to internal system
- Create digital files and assign to branch operations staff
- Process ISF (Importer Security Filing) and transmit to U.S. Customs and Border Protection
- Regular communication via email with clients and partners for documents, shipment information
- Managing general administrative activities in a detail-oriented way including data entry, tracking orders, following up with customers, and preparing various shipping documents
- Collaborate with the team to deliver outstanding customer service while leveraging opportunities to streamline and refine or automate existing processes
- Provide administrative support to the branch managers across the four New England region offices
Position Requirements:
- 1+ years as an Administrative Assistant, Office Administrator, or relevant administrative role
- 1+ years working with Microsoft Outlook
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) required
- Ability to multi-task, and prioritize tasks with little to no supervision
- Impeccable organizational skills and strong attention to detail are a must
- Excellent written communication skills
Nice to Haves:
- Working knowledge of logistics and international freight forwarding documentation
- International/domestic transportation processes
- Experience with CargoWise software
