As the Operations Assistant, you will be supporting the Quality Control Specialist and Purchasing Department, in the processing of important documents and in administrative duties. We are looking for a strong Administrator who is detailed and organized.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with all departments and management to follow implemented standards and regulations
- Ensure the execution of administrative activities related to the on-going operation of the Quality Control role
- Keep up-to-date records of yearly inspections, certificates, statements, and product documents
- Maintenance of documentation and record keeping systems, to ensure integrity, accuracy, completeness, and quality of documentation
- Assure documentation complies with regulatory guidelines and procedures
- Distribute relevant product documentation, Declarations, and other related Quality Control documentation to Sales Team
- Assist with product retains
- File documentation for product and label retains
- Assist with Supplier follow-up communications
- Coordinate and distribute new product samples
- Regularly participate in interdepartmental meetings
- Perform Administrative support as assigned by Management
REQUIREMENT:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of professional experience working in a similar Operations role
- Basic understanding of NetSuite or similar ERP required
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements, FDA
- Proficient in Excel, word, Teams, Google docs
- Familiar with the International documentation process a plus
- Experience in Dietary Supplement - preferably
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Superior prioritization and multitasking skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Able to work with little supervision
- Meticulous attention to detail
THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION. YOU WILL BE EXPECTED TO REPORT TO THE MONROE, CT OFFICE MONDAY-FRIDAY (WE WORK REMOTELY ON WEDNESDAYS).
