We are seeking a driven and skilled Administrative Assistant to join our team. If you thrive in a fast-paced work environment, are proficient at multi-tasking, and have experience with various office software (Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe), with specific knowledge and experience in QuickBooks, this position may be for you. How You Will Make an Impact:
- Completing work tasks promptly, as assigned, in an orderly, timely, and efficient manner.
- Providing support to our accountants and other administrative staff members.
- Multi-tasking effectively to handle various responsibilities.
- Following protocols and procedures to manage files.
- Scheduling meetings, conference calls, and appointments.
- Transmitting correspondence to clients and insureds.
- Helping ensure office procedures run smoothly.
Requirements:
- Two years or more of administrative experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- General familiarity with office equipment.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience with QuickBooks is essential.
- Ability to sit for extended periods, with occasional standing, walking, or kneeling.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds (approximate weight of a box of paper).
- High School degree; additional qualifications as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary will be an advantage.
