Safety Hoist Company is looking for a competent Administrative Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results. Accounting software experience is a must.
Candidate must have own transportation and be able to work 8 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday
Candidate MUST be able to pay close attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Organize office and order office supplies
- Answer phones
- Sort and distribute sales orders in a timely manner
- Accounts receivable and invoicing
- Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to customer requests or issues
- Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
- Outbound and inbound shipping
Skills
- Proven experience as office assistant, or in another relevant administrative role
- Must be reliable
- Knowledge of basic office software (word and excel)
- Must be able to handle high volume work load
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
