Job Overview
This person plays an important role in organizing, managing, and keeping an office running. Provides support to the manager, other employees, and office visitors by handling a variety of tasks to ensure that all interactions between the organization and others are positive and productive.
Responsibilities and Duties
Handle office tasks, such as filing, generating reports, and receiving incoming mail.
Provide excellent customer service by answering the phone in a professional and welcoming manner.
Keep inventory current and order office and safety supplies. Greet and assist visitors.
Use a computer to generate reports and track inventory.
Assists the employees with any questions pertaining to office supplies, paperwork, reports, etc.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
Perform filing and clerical duties.
Maintain purchase order file for all items ordered.
Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment.
Maintain request, and file all required certificates and permits.
Work with staff in other departments, accounting, warehouse managers, etc.
Performs other duties as assigned.
