We’re hiring an Administrative Assistant to the Founding Pastor of Vineyard Columbus who is primarily responsible for coordinating all logistics for all leadership development programs the Founding Pastor leads, including Pastors Residency Program, and for providing day-to-day administrative assistance including transcribing voice recordings into emails, sermons, manuscripts and other communication mediums as needed. This is a 15-hour position.

What you’ll do:
Coordination of the Pastors Residency Program and other leadership development programs the Founding Pastor leads:
- Serve as primary point of contact for program participants for communication, scheduling, assignments, feedback and logistics
- Responsible for coordinating and executing program logistics, including but not limited to meeting management, scheduling internal and external speakers and vendors, assignment collection, tracking of quarterly evaluations and program feedback, adjusting the program schedule as appropriate
- Transcribing voice recordings into emails, sermon manuscripts, and other communication mediums with excellence and while holding strict confidentiality about all communication
- Managing all internal/external aspects of scheduling for the Founding Pastor by prioritizing and calendaring meetings and communicating on his behalf
- Anticipating needs and help the Founding Pastor stay aware and ahead of schedule, and proactively scheduling preparation time as required
- Scheduling, responding to incoming calls and emails, drafting correspondences, suggesting needed actions and provide follow-up as necessary
- Assist with various communication materials and actions including editing blog articles, congregational emails, editing sermon transcripts and producing reports
What you bring:
- Demonstrated strong typing skills in various formats (emails, letters, outlines, etc)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate multiple simultaneous projects
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to appropriately handle confidential information
