Schedule:
Monday-Friday 9am-1pm
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the church office
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence
- Perform data entry and maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings and conferences
- Religious background and Christ-centered lifestyle highly preferred
- Assist with project coordination and follow-up on action items
- Provide support to congregation members as well as members of the community
- Transcribe, format, proofread, and edit documents
- Develop and maintain a filing system, both electronic and physical
- Assist with general clerical duties as needed or directed by Pastor
- Responsible for maintaining office inventory and order supplies when needed
Skills and Requirements:
- Proficient in computerized systems and software applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Canva, Excel and ability to learn our internal database)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Previous experience as a personal assistant or in project coordination is highly preferred
- Ability to provide exceptional customer support and handle inquiries professionally
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to manage calendars effectively and coordinate schedules
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
