Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Insurance Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers, assisting them with their insurance needs and providing exceptional service at every interaction. Your main objective will be to ensure customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and offering appropriate coverage options. Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional Customer Service to insurance clients, responding promptly and professionally to inquiries and concerns via phone, email, or in-person.
- Assist clients in identifying their insurance needs and recommend suitable coverage options based on their unique circumstances.
- Process policy changes, updates, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct policy reviews to ensure clients' coverage aligns with their evolving needs and recommend adjustments as necessary.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints or issues, aiming for first-contact resolution whenever possible.
- Collaborate with insurance agents on policy renewals, cross-selling opportunities, and new customer acquisition.
- Process insurance quotes and applications, gathering necessary information, and guiding clients through the application process.
- Maintain accurate and organized customer records, ensuring all relevant information is up to date to provide seamless service in the future.
- Stay up to date with insurance products, coverage options, industry trends, and regulatory guidelines to provide accurate and informed assistance to clients.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Customer Service function.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with clients.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and friendly demeanor.

- Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage types, and underwriting principles is preferred.
