Job Description Summary:
The Administrative Assistant provides advanced administrative support to a Director or Vice President, requiring broad experience, strong administrative support skills and thorough knowledge of a variety of software programs and organization policies and practices. The successful candidate will show initiative, use good judgment, and exhibit a professional presence while consistently multitasking and prioritizing. the Administrative Assistant performs a variety of duties to assist leadership in making each department function successfully.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School or GED (Required)BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association, DL-HC - Driver's License only if in a Home Care department - Department of Motor Vehicles, LMT - Licensed Massage Therapist - National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork
Some post High school with emphasis on secretarial, computer and business skills Demonstrated advanced level Experience with current software programs utilized within department where position exists. Experience with developing and mailing spreadsheets, and/or database programs. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint); Experience with current software programs utilized within department where position exists; proficient typing skills; demonstrated business communications skills (oral and written), including grammar and punctuation; Experience managing calendars; Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion; excellent customer service skills. Candidates may be asked to complete proficiency testing, as well as writing or presentation samples.
