Everlast Roofing, Inc., a leader in the metal roofing industry is seeking a part-time Manufacturing Administrative Assistant for our Lebanon, Pennsylvania facility.

About the position.
The Manufacturing Administrative Assistant is not assigned to work in one department but will be focused on shipping and receiving. The Manufacturing Administrative Assistant position is assigned to work in various departments within the back office of our manufacturing facility; to fill vacancies created by leaves of absence, vacation or vacant positions that are being recruited.
The candidate for this position is responsible for providing support in the performance of various administrative and clerical duties for the department they assigned to. To do this job successfully, an individual must be willing to learn each department's needs and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and abilities required. Knowledge of excel is imperative.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist the departments in a variety of clerical functions such as, but not limited to, Inventory, Distribution and Production Scheduling.
- Shipping and Receiving.
- Creates reports as needed.
- Compliance with the facilities GMPs.
- Maintain a clean work area, free of debris or safety hazards and awareness of surroundings (i.e. vehicles, people, equipment, etc.) at all times.
- Perform all functions in accordance with operation and safety guidelines.
- Learn the needs and support other departments, as needed.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned including creating and reviewing reports, scheduling, route trucks and deliveries.
Physical Requirements:
- The employee must possess coordination and dexterity.
- The employee frequently is required to talk and/or hear.
- The employee is continuously required to sit.
- The employee is occasionally required to stand for long periods of time and walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to thirty five (35) pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Forklift experience is helpful
- Must possess a willingness to learn and be coachable.
- Ability to communicate (read and write) effectively, professionally, and friendly in a business environment.
- Computer skills (MS, Outlook, Powerpoint & Excel).
- Must have the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- Must possess strong organization and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, change gears quickly and work independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed. Schedule is Monday through Friday hours will be determined upon job offer.
