Job Description
HintonBurdick CPAs & Advisors a leading regional certified public accounting firm, is looking for an Administrative Assistant to help in our St. George Mailroom.
The right candidate will be someone who is self-motivated, eager to complete tasks timely and accurately, and has the drive to ensure the mailroom runs well.
The position is based in our St. George office where you'll generally work solo but will interact via email and in person with peers and CPAs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitoring print queues and assembling electronic and physical copies of tax-related documents
- Assemble and scan tax returns and documentation supporting tax returns
- Upload tax and accounting documents to client electronic portals
- Pick up mail from the post office, and deliver mail throughout the office
- Monitor supply inventory and place orders as necessary
- Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to copying, mailing, answering phones, and filing
- Help out with front desk meals and rest period breaks as needed
- Physically route files inter-office
- Perform off-site tasks such as bank deposits, courier services, order pick-ups
- Assist with meeting organization including room set up and virtual meeting rooms
- Oversee tax relief program including ordering lunches, and arranging for recognition events
- Handle increased work during deadlines (Mar. 1-15, Apr. 1 -15, Sept, 1 - 15, and Oct. 1-15)
Physical:
- Able to work around large printing/copy machine
- Can lift 30lbs on occasion
- Able to work in an office setting including at a desk, using a computer and phone system
- Work onsite
This is an hourly position working 32-40 hours per week. During busy periods, hours can be over 40. Overtime is paid for all hours worked in excess of 40 per week (Sun-Sat).
An ideal schedule would start between 7:00 am - 9:00 am daily.
