The Administrative Assistant works directly with the Project Management/Command Staff in meeting the administrative needs of the project and its staff.
Essential Functions of the Position
- Answering the telephone
- Typing/word processing of documents
- Maintaining calendars and setting up meetings
- Making travel arrangements
- Copying and faxing
- Greeting visitors
- Setting up files
- Tracking expenses
- Preparing standard reports for the Program Manager
- Work in a role supporting senior management & team
- Some work is completed without established procedures
Supervisory Responsibilities
No direct supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school degree/GED or equivalent
- Four (4) years office/administration/supervisory experience
- Verifiable experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CAC card with network access.
Security Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.82 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
