Summary:
The IT Administrative Assistant will be responsible for supporting IT operations in a Law Firm. Ideal candidates will have excellent organization and communication skills with a minimum of 2 years of relevant IT and administrative experience.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain filing system for the department both paper and electronic systems.
- Responsible for inventory of hardware and software, ensuring proper tracking for all locations
- Perform Key/Lock control and Badge/key audits.
- Order and maintain office supplies.
- Assistant firm compliance officer with documents needed for contacts and audits.
- Responsible for NDA for onsite passes and signed security acknowledgements
- Receive invoices, review for accuracy and submit to accounting for payment.
- Perform all new hire security briefing and acknowledgement.
- Order and ship products and equipment as needed
- Manage a positive relationship with external vendors and service providers
- Providing desktop support for the firm
- And other duties as assigned
- History of working independently without constant guidance

Minimum Qualifications
- Have at least 2 years IT concepts and terminology or Associate Degree in IT
- At least 2 years' experience in an administrative in IT position
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in using office software, communication tools and adapting to new technology
- Ability to communicate effectively with others of various management levels
- Excellent time management, organizational skills able to multitask and prioritize work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Work Environment
The job operates in a clerical office setting. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
