Chaminade College Preparatory seeks an experienced, detail oriented Administrative Assistant to join our International Program Operations.

The Position Representative Duties
Under the direction of the Principals and Assistant Principals, provides administrative and clerical support to the Director of International Programs. Interfaces with faculty, staff, administration, students, families, alumni, and the community in supporting the administrative functions.
Following are the representative duties of the position.
- Answers multi-line incoming phones and directs calls to appropriate parties. Retrieves voicemails and forwards messages to others as appropriate and per established guidelines.
- Promptly greets and attends to visitors.
- Responsible for the management of data entry, maintenance, and accuracy of Excel spreadsheets regarding expenses and distribution of funds.
- Responsible for tracking and maintaining International Student health records.
- Continuously monitor academic grades and address any concerns.
- Assist with the scheduling of AP exams.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience Preferred
Qualified candidates should have a combination of education and experience equivalent to the following:
- High school diploma
- Prefer previous school administrative support or related experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Able to support Marianist philosophy and School core values and goals.
- Strong work ethic and sense of dedication and responsibility.
- Sound organization skills.
- Excellent inter-personal skills and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret policies and to implement the application of procedures effectively.
- Attention to detail.
- Computer skills include MS Outlook, word processing (MS Word), spreadsheet (Excel), data entry and other systems which may be used in execution of the duties of the position..
- Formatting and composing skills for memo writing, correspondence, flyers, and brochures.
Salary and Benefits
This is a temporary hourly (non-exempt) position. The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience and is expected to be in the range of $20.64 to $22.00.
