Job Description:
The Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible for assisting the Insurance Department as well as assisting in the general clerical duties of the administrative offices as needed. The shift will be 8am to 5pm. They will also be responsible for the following duties:
- Collect necessary document to determine eligibility/coverage
- Field insurance inquiries and questions
- Collaborate with Case Managers, Clinical Supervisors, Directors, MDs, Psychologists., etc., on obtaining authorizations
- Maintains the Insurance and Clinical Documents email inboxes
- Maintains the Insurance Documents on the Company Server
- Maintain and create client files
- Collect and maintain client documents, certifications, and agreements (e.g., insurance ID cards, diagnosis documentation, NPI, CAQH, RBT, TSA, consent forms, etc.)
- Office upkeep (scanning, filing, faxing, photocopying)
- Answer incoming calls and messages and routes to appropriate departments.
- General maintenance and upkeep of all common areas of office including but not limited to cleaning toys, rearranging furniture, and sanitizing the office.
Job Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma
- Must be computer literate
- Must know Microsoft Excel and Word
- Must be well organized
- Must have the ability to multi-task
- Must have the ability to prioritize and adhere to strict deadlines
- Must be an excellent team player
- Must have the ability to problem solve/be a self-starter
- Administrative experience (preferred)
