The State Support Team Region 3 (Cuyahoga County) is seeking qualified and interested candidates for a full-time classified Administrative Assistant Level II
The classified position is for providing support for the State Support Team consultants and coordinators. The offices reside within the Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio, located at 6393 Oak Tree Blvd., Independence Ohio 44131.

Reports to: Director of State Support Team Region 3
Job Objective: Organize, coordinate, and perform duties that support the delivery and advancement of the State Support Team Department.
Appointment Type: Classified
Days: 230-day contract
Salary: Commensurate with experience, salary range $35,068 - $52,070
SERS and fringe benefit package, vacation days
Work Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Essential Functions:
The following are typical work responsibilities. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable a qualified individual with a disability to perform essential functions.
- Create internal/external communications for the State Support Team department.
- Update and maintain the State Support Team website.
- Provide in-person and virtual administrative support to State Support Team consultants
- Register teams/individuals for conferences, meetings, etc. using online portals such as OH|ID and OCCRRA
- Utilize web-based applications, including Google Docs, Padlet, Canvas, Constant Contact, and Zoom, in support of SST3 staff
- Employ applications within the Microsoft Office Suite to create flyers, documents, spreadsheets, and databases.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum requirements are used to establish clear and appropriate eligibility standards for a specific
position.
- High school diploma, college education or degree, certification endorsement.
- Maintain a record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
- Participate (and pass where applicable) in all required trainings, including but not limited to: Vehicle Safety, First Aid, CPR, Crisis Intervention, Blood Borne Pathogens, and others deemed appropriate for the position.
- Comply with drug-free workplace rules and board policies.
- Embody high ethical standards and integrity. Accept responsibility for decisions and conduct.
- Adhere to Educational Service Center (ESC) Governing Board policies/administrative guidelines/staff handbook, policies of assigned worksite, and to the Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators
- Promote the proper use, care, and security of Educational Service Center (ESC) property. Report misconduct, vandalism, equipment malfunctions and other concerns.
- Advance the professional image of the service center and affiliated school districts.
- Establish professional relationships with coworkers and functions as a part of a cohesive team.

Working Conditions:
Promote safety, exercise caution, and comply with safety regulations and service center policies/procedures when involved in the following situations/conditions.
- Risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens, bodily fluids, and/or communicable diseases.
- Risk of exposure to air-borne particulates, chemical irritants, combustible materials, electrical hazards, equipment vibrations, noises, and odors. Exposure to wet or slippery surfaces.
- Balancing, bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, and standing.
- Lifting, carrying, and moving work-related supplies and/or equipment.
- Must have the ability to occasionally move up to 50 lbs.
- Operate and/or ride in a vehicle.
- Travel to meetings and work assignments.
