Configuration/ Release Management resource

BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Intermediate Configuration/ Release Management resource for an opportunity in Remote.
Position Title: Configuration/ Release Management resource

Location: Remote
Anticipated Start Date: 31th - May - 2024
Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.
Expected Duration: 6+ months contract
Job Type: [FULL TIME (>%3D30 HRS WEEKLY), [CONTRACT/TEMP TO HIRE/PERM], [Remote]
Pay Range: $47.34/hr - $50.00/hr
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Description:
Our customer has an immediate need for a Configuration/Release Management resource.
The application being supported is an Oracle based client/server application.
The candidate will be part of the CM/RM team with responsibility managing and tracking the versions of code between production, test and development environments.
Security+ certification is required prior to start.
Additional skills/experience desired:
* Understanding of CM role, CM control, responsibilities
* Comprehension of the SDLC
* Time Management and the ability to prioritize and organize task efficiently.
* Effective written and oral communication.
* Able to work with both management, developers, and external staff to ensure there is timely flow from each level of the SDLC and that the required artifacts are completed and archived per policy and procedure.
* Able to perform well under high levels of stress.
* Analytical with a high degree of attention to detail.
* Knowledge of batch file processing
