Administrative Assistant- High School And Middle School Summer School 2024

TO: All Administrative Assistants Brockton Public SchoolsFROM: Dr. Kathleen F. Moran, Assistant Superintendent of Human ResourcesSUBJECT: MIDDLE SCHOOL and HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER SCHOOL 2024 - ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANTSAdministrative Assistants are needed to work in the Middle School and high School Summer School programs. Positions are contingent upon funding and adequate student enrollment.Both programs will run from July 1st through July 31st, with the exception of July 4th and 5th.
There will be a required paid training session on a date to be determined prior to the start of the program. Five (5) hours will be provided for preparation, recruitment, and documentation prior to program start.Administrative Assistants will assist with the recruitment and registration processes by communicating with families and collecting required documentation.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Assume all clerical responsibilities, including the collection of high School Summer School tuition2.Support program supervisors3.Answer phones and assist parents4.Track student attendance5.Support the timely submission of payroll6.Support required evaluations and data collection7.Must commit to work the entire length of the program and attend training8.Other duties as directed by the Assistant Superintendent, 6-12 and the program supervisorsAll Administrative Assistant positions begin 30 minutes before the start of the program and end 30 minutes after the program closure.
