- Monday – Friday – 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- $37,900 - $45,000 per year as new employee (performance raises available, after hire)
- High School diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
- 1 year of administrative experience required
- Experience working with word processing, electronic mail/calendar, spreadsheet, presentation, and database software.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of business processes and procedures
- Ability to use basic reasoning skills
- Proficiency and experience with calendar management in an administrative support capacity
- Prior experience with scheduling, coordinating appointments
- Excellent typing skills, general navigation computer skills, and MS Office Suite
- Under direct supervision, provide general administrative support to a department or group of professionals.
- Order office supplies and maintain office equipment.
- Help supervisor and department prepare presentations (i.e., edits, prints, basic formatting functions).
- Sort, distribute, prioritize, and compose routine correspondence following established procedures not requiring management review. (i.e., reads correspondence/highlights important items and sends to supervisor, sends emails sent on behalf of dept head, writes and sends meeting reminders, forwards emails to appropriate distribution list on behalf of department head).
- Perform routine clerical functions, such as copying, sorting, filing, and typing. Set up and maintain varied office files, logs, and records office activities.
- Assist in researching, drafting, and/or abstracting routine reports. Compiles and analyzes basic information.
- Answer, screen, and route incoming calls and messages. Responds to routine questions.
- Maintain supervisor’s calendar (i.e., schedule meetings and recurring events, schedule large conference rooms, order food, ensure applicable equipment is available and ready for meeting, may take meeting minutes).
- Greet, screen, and direct visitors to appropriate staff member.
