We serve the residents of Hamilton County in more ways than you may realize. As the Administrative Assistant at Hamilton County, you'll play a crucial role in providing essential administrative and secretarial support to the Director and Operations Coordinator of the Stadia and Parking Department. Your responsibilities will include managing confidential projects, acting as a liaison with county officials and employees, and ensuring seamless office operations. Additionally, you'll assist with payroll functions, inventory tracking, and various administrative tasks vital for departmental efficiency.
Summary of Job Duties:
- Provides administrative and secretarial support to Director and Operations Coordinator.
- Serves as departmental liaison and transmits information to county officials, employees, and departments on behalf of supervisor and serves as initial point of contact for those entering the Stadia and Parking office.
- Sorts and distributes mail, orders supplies and maintains department files.
- processes bill payments for Paycor Stadium, Great American Ballpark, and the Hamilton County owned Parking facilities.
- Works with Operations Coordinator on annual inventory tracking for PBS, GABP and Hamilton County owned Parking facilities.
- Performs a variety of administrative duties related to bi-weekly payroll functions for the Stadia and Parking Department.
- Manages the day-to-day auction process and procedures for the Stadia & Parking Department, assisting constituents.
- Manages staff uniform program.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- College-level coursework and experience which evidences a thorough knowledge of office practices and procedures and government structure and process.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and budgetary process helpful
- An equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted for the above qualifications.
- Must be able to work outside of normal business hours on evenings and/or weekends as needed.
