SUMMARY
Family Service League is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to be responsible for maintaining the front desk of a BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CLINIC. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for interacting with clients via phone or in-person to help navigate clinic services, including appointment scheduling and completion of related paperwork.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Administrative Assistant will perform general clerical functions, including answering phones, scheduling, loading, and confirming appointments, scanning, filing and reporting to assist the multidisciplinary team with efficiently operating the office.
- Greet and interact with clients, visitors, and referral sources.
- Perform electronic data entry and record keeping.
- The Administrative Assistant will support the supervisory staff with the required statistical data collection and reporting.
- Assist with operation of technology, including phones, computers, copiers/scanners, and fax machines.
- Assist with completion of insurance paperwork, including prior authorizations for treatment.
- The Administrative Assistant will help maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Assist with coverage at other locations as needed.
- Work with the Facility Manager and the Office Manager to set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details, data, information, and activities.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years of related experience in an office setting required.
Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team in a busy clinic environment required.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills required.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office required.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule for office coverage.
Afternoon and evening hours required.
Saturday availability required as needed.
