We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant for our PCL Industrial Construction Co. project located in Orange, TX.
As an Administrative Assistantfor our GTPP Project in Orange, Texas, you will contribute to our team by:
- Provides accurate Word, Excel and Power Point support by composing and/or editing a variety of documents, spreadsheets, presentations, minutes, memoranda, contracts, and proposals.
- Develops and maintains a well-organized filing system that permits easy reference and rapid retrieval of information.
- Assists with the issuance of subcontracts, subcontract revisions as well as client contracts.
- Compiles and builds Loop Folders and System Turnover Binders.
- Redline, track and file construction drawings.
- Creates and maintains templates for forms, letters, tracking spreadsheets, etc.
- Other duties as required.
- Review/participate in available company trainings.
- Cultivating relationships among a wide range of personalities and successfully working with people and companies from varies backgrounds and locations.
What you will bring to the role:
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative role.
- Technical certificate in an office administration program is considered a strong asset.
- Intermediate skills in Word, Outlook, and OneNote, ability to create, edit and format documents.
- Intermediate skills in Excel, ability to create simple spreadsheets and edit data.
- Basic construction knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proofreading and grammar.
- Self-management skills to plan, organize and prioritize tasks with conflicting deadlines.
- Service oriented approach internally and externally.
- Professionalism when dealing with PCL employees and external contacts.
- Knowledgeable in department/project specific software.
- Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential information.
- Ability to ask the right questions to the right people in order to find the answers as quickly as possible.
