Job Description: Administrative Assistant I
Summary: We are looking for a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our company who can undertake a variety of daily office and clerical tasks. The Administrative Assistant will need to ensure they demonstrate a high standard when it comes to health, and safety. They will assist with the general administrative functions and activities of the office. This individual will assist all departments with special projects.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in a Safety-First Culture, and ensure that the health, safety, and environmental protocols are met or exceeded.
- Act as the company receptionist including answering calls and greeting guests.
- Support the office with various administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, coordinating lunches, arranging travel, monthly celebrations, etc.
- Serve as Administrative Assistant to executive team, including processing expense reports, general administrative support, word processing and presentation preparation (PowerPoint).
- Maintain and organize meetings and schedules including logistics for traveling participants.
- Maintain and update paper and digital records.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail.
- Ensure that office supplies are available and stocked.
- Serve as the office point person various other office needs.
- Provide support to the marketing department.
- Perform other office duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role.
- Experience in customer service.
- Knowledge of basic office management systems and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to create strong working relationships with personnel, suppliers, and management.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- High level of professionalism.
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently, and seek help or assistance as needed.
- Distinctly dependable and trustworthy with a strong and proven work ethic.
- A minimum of three years' experience in this role, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook.

Education Level:
- High School Diploma
- Associate degree in business or Related Field preferred.
Advancement Opportunities to Administrative Assistant II:
- Recommendation from manager.
- 5 or more years in current position.
- Or combination of 2 years in current position and 3 years similar work experience outside of Solidia.
- No corrective action or on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) over the past 12 months.
